The trip of a lifetime — and I'd do it again tomorrow.

Pemba was the kindest, most patient guide I have ever met. He noticed I was struggling on day 6 before I did, slowed the pace, and got me to Kala Patthar at sunrise. Swotah's logistics were flawless — every teahouse was the best in town.

  • Marcus K.Germany · May 2025
    ★★★★★

Small group, locally rooted, brilliantly run.

We were six trekkers, three porters and two guides. It felt like a family by day three. The food was honestly better than I expected.

    ★★★★★

They cared about us, not the schedule.

When my partner got a bad cough at Lobuche, the guide arranged a heli evac in two hours and they refunded the unused days. That's the kind of thing you only know when something goes wrong — and it told me everything.
