Namaste, I’m Raj Kumar Shrestha.

My journey in Nepal's mountains began in 1997, and since then, trekking has become much more than a profession—it has been my way of life. Over the years, I have explored and guided treks across every major trekking region of Nepal, from the famous trails of Everest and Annapurna to the remote valleys of Manaslu, Dolpo, Kanchenjunga, Mustang, and beyond.

While I have experience throughout the Himalayas, my true specialty lies in the Annapurna region and the unique Millennium Homestay Trek. Having spent countless days on these trails, I know not only the routes and mountain views but also the local cultures, hidden villages, family-run teahouses, and stories that make these journeys so rewarding. One thing my guests often remember about me is my sense of humor. I believe a trek should be challenging when it needs to be, but it should also be filled with laughter, good conversations, and memorable moments along the way. Whether we're climbing a steep hill, sharing tea in a mountain village, or celebrating a successful trek, I enjoy bringing positive energy to every group.

After nearly three decades in the trekking industry, I still love meeting people from different cultures and showing them the Nepal that I know and love. My goal is simple: to help every traveler experience the mountains safely, authentically, and with plenty of smiles along the way. I look forward to sharing the trails, stories, and hospitality of Nepal with you on your next adventure.
