Who we work with

Six ways to partner with Swotah

Whether you resell a handful of treks a year or run a full Himalaya programme, there is a version of this partnership that fits. Tell us which one sounds like you.

Travel agencies & retailers

Sell our Himalayan treks, tours and climbs to your clients at net rates. You keep the client and set your own selling price. We do the quoting, the planning and the running of the trip behind the scenes.

Most common
Tour operators & DMCs

Add Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet to your programme without opening an office in Kathmandu. You get contracted rates, guaranteed departures, and one operations contact for the whole region.

Volume rates
Corporate & incentive travel

Leadership retreats, incentive trips and team expeditions, built around your objectives, budget and dates. We handle the risk assessments, the insurance liaison, and the reporting while the group is on trip.

Bespoke
Trek leaders & creators

Bring your own group or audience and host a trip under your name. We handle the permits, logistics, guiding and payments while you look after your travellers. The group leader travels free on qualifying departures.

Trip hosting
Schools, universities & clubs

Educational treks, expedition training, research field trips and volunteering programmes. Safeguarding documents, staff ratios and parent-ready itineraries come as standard.

Groups
Affiliate & referral partners

For bloggers, gear shops, guiding schools and past travellers. Refer a booking and earn a referral fee. No contract, no minimum, and a tracked link so you always know which booking was yours.

One named account manager

No ticket queues. You get a named Kathmandu contact who knows your account, your clients and your itineraries. Reach them on WhatsApp, email or phone. A 24-hour emergency line stays open the whole time your groups are on the mountain.

Questions

The things partners always ask

Still not answered?

Ask us directly. Our B2B desk replies to WhatsApp messages faster than anything else.

Ask on WhatsApp
What commission or net rates do partners get?
We work on confidential net rates instead of a fixed commission percentage, so you set your own selling price and margin. The exact rate depends on the trip, the group size and how much volume you send. We list them in the rate sheet during onboarding and hold them for the season.
Is there a minimum booking volume or joining fee?
No. There's no joining fee, no annual fee and no minimum passenger count. Partners who send regular volume move onto better rates, but a single group is enough to open an account.
Can we sell your trips under our own brand?
Yes. We supply unbranded itineraries, kit lists, trip notes and photography that you can put your own logo on. We can also run co-branded departures where our guides carry your branding on the ground.
Which destinations can you operate?
Nepal is our home operation and where we're strongest, with trekking, peak climbing and expeditions across every region. We run Bhutan, Tibet and India directly, and cover Sri Lanka and Myanmar through partner agencies we've worked with for years.
How quickly do you turn around a quote?
Standard itineraries come back the same working day. Fully custom ones with special routing, permits or helicopter logistics usually take one to two working days.
What are your payment terms?
A deposit confirms the booking and the balance is due before arrival. We agree the exact terms, currencies and payment methods in the partnership agreement. We take bank transfer and card, and can invoice per booking or monthly for high-volume partners.
What happens if something goes wrong on a trip?
Our Kathmandu operations desk is reachable throughout every live trip. Guides carry oximeters and first-aid kits, every itinerary builds in altitude protocols, and we deal directly with rescue and insurance providers. After any escalation you get a written incident report.
