Rajan Rai

Namaste, I’m Rajan Rai.

I was born and raised in eastern Nepal and have spent the last 10 years guiding trekkers through the spectacular Everest region. The mountains have always been a part of my life, and I am proud to share the beauty, culture, and adventure of the Himalayas with visitors from around the world. My specialty is the Everest region, including Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lakes, and other trails throughout the Khumbu valley.

 Having guided these routes for many years, I know the terrain, local communities, and mountain conditions well, allowing me to help trekkers enjoy a safe and rewarding experience in one of the world's most iconic trekking destinations. I enjoy meeting people from different countries and introducing them to the traditions, history, and daily life of the Himalayan communities. Whether it's your first trek in Nepal or you're an experienced mountain traveler, I strive to make every journey comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable. For me, guiding is about more than leading a trail—it's about helping people achieve their goals, experience new cultures, and create lasting memories in the mountains.
