Namaste, I’m Ramesh Rai.

I was born and raised in Nepal's Everest region, where the towering peaks, Sherpa culture, and mountain traditions have been part of my life since childhood. Growing up in the shadow of the world's highest mountains gave me a deep connection to the Himalayas and inspired me to pursue a career as a trekking guide. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to guiding trekkers through the Everest region, helping travelers experience not only the breathtaking landscapes but also the unique culture and hospitality of the local communities.

From the classic Everest Base Camp Trek to Gokyo Lakes, Three Passes Trek, and other routes in the Khumbu region, I have extensive firsthand knowledge of the trails, villages, and mountain environments that make this area so special. As a local guide, I take pride in ensuring every journey is safe, enjoyable, and memorable. I enjoy sharing stories about life in the Himalayas, introducing visitors to local traditions, and helping trekkers gain a deeper understanding of the region beyond its famous peaks.

For me, guiding is about more than reaching a destination—it's about creating meaningful experiences, building friendships, and helping travelers connect with the spirit of the Everest region.
