Namaste, I'm Pasang Dawa Sherpa.

The Himalayas have been my home, my workplace, and my passion for most of my life. As a professional mountaineer and expedition leader, I have dedicated myself to helping climbers from around the world achieve their dreams safely on the world's highest peaks.

In 2026, I successfully summited Mount Everest for the 31st time, placing me among the most accomplished Everest climbers in history. While these achievements have brought recognition, my focus has always remained the same: guiding climbers safely to their goals and ensuring every expedition is conducted with professionalism, responsibility, and respect for the mountains.

Throughout my career, I have led numerous high-altitude expeditions on Everest and other Himalayan peaks, working with climbers ranging from first-time adventurers to internationally recognized personalities. I have had the privilege of guiding renowned figures, including Bear Grylls, and supporting successful expeditions for clients from all over the world.

Since joining Swotah Travel in 2017, I have played a key role in leading the company's mountaineering and expedition operations. Today, I proudly lead Swotah's Everest and Himalayan expeditions, sharing decades of experience, technical expertise, and local knowledge with every team I guide.

For me, mountaineering is not about records or personal recognition. It is about helping others realize their ambitions, overcoming challenges together, and returning home safely after an unforgettable journey. Every summit represents teamwork, trust, and the enduring spirit of the mountains.
