Bungee Jumping at Bhote Koshi is the perfect activity for the adventure seeker, for the adrenaline rush. Bungee jumping at the Bhote Koshi River is Nepal's first Bungee jumping site, located at a height of 160m.

Bungee Jumping in Nepal lies close to the Nepal-Tibet periphery, a three-hour transport ride from Kathmandu. This Bungee jump is done as a 500ft(160m) drop into the Bhote Koshi River Gorge, which is one of the longest free-falls on the planet. It is worked by the absolute most experienced people in the business.

This gorge is additionally the most beautiful Gorge on the whole planet. Bhote Koshi Bungee jumping offers a genuine experience as it is completed by falling from the high elevation at genuine and natural spots.

Detailed Itinerary

Day1

Arrive Kathmandu

An agent from Swotah travels will be at Tribhuwan International Airport to receive you. After arrival, you will be transferred to star hotel in Kathmandu according to your choose. Whole day will be free for you and in the evening briefing about the Bungee jump.

Day2

Drive to Last Resort

Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner

Accommodation: Resort

After breakfast today we move towards the Last Resort which is located at 100kms northeast of Kathmandu at Tibetan border. After three hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Last resort, we rest there and stay overnight.

Day3

Preparation for Bungee and drive back to Kathmandu

Meals: Breakfast,Lunch

Accommodation: Hotel

After breakfast, we move on to the Bungee jump spot. Once we arrive at the spot we take a short briefing from the jump master. After the jump, we can have good lunch at the resort nearby and rest for some time. We will then drive back to Kathmandu.

Today is the last day of this trip so we’ll dine together and leave to the Airport for a flight back home.

1. Will somebody come to pick me up at the airport upon arrival ?

Yes, our representative will be there to greet you at the airport. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel by a private car/jeep.

2. Is there an Orientation program ?

Yes, there is going to be a small orientation/briefing program before we embark on our adventure by the tour manager, leader/guide.

3. What is the overnight accommodation like ?

For the night accommodation, we use standard/deluxe/star hotels during this trip according to your preference and comfort and your own desire.

4. Can I get vegetarian meals ?

Yes, you can but you have to clear it before we start a trip.

5. What is the weight limit for Bungee jumping ?

The minimum weight for the Bungee jumping is 40kg and maximum is 100kg.

6. What sort of food can I expect in Bungee jumping ?

We make sure to take security measures during bungee jumping to make your jump delightful. We suggest you to follow the guide’s instruction carefully and take security measures. It’s fun jumping, so don’t be scared about it.

7. What mode of transportation do you use ?

We use private transportation to pick up and drop process. We then transfer to Last Resort on private transportation either may be jeep/car/van and deluxe minibus with A/C depending on the size of the group according to your personal desire.

8. Does Bungee run every day ?

In March, April May, August, September, October and November Bungee can be done in every day except Monday and during December January, February, June and July you can also do bungee on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

9. What is appropriate dress for Bungee Jumping ?

During Bungee Jumping, wear a comfortable clothes as you need to move your hands and legs freely so don’t wear tight jeans.

10. Is it possible to alternate or change the day trips ?

We customize the trip according to your preference but if you need to change plan during the trip, consult the guide.

11. For what purpose is this adventure Popular ?

Bungee Jumping unlike what it looks like is a safe adventure sport that is done under proper guidance and safety measures. So jump off the bridge and enjoy the free falling in the wildest river of Bhote Koshi. This jump will offer you a real adventure as it is done by falling from the high altitude at real and natural places.

12. Are your guides reliable and certified ?

All our guides are tour experts holding license from Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal Government. They are the most valuable assets of the company. Guides know the route like the back of their hand and use their expertise in ensuring your safety in the whole trip.

13. How can I charge my electronics during the trip ?

You can charge your electronics in the hotel where you stay and spend your nights by paying minimum amount.

14. Is there any communication while we are on Bungee ?

Yes, you will get telephone service which is available in the hotel you will be staying at. In case of emergency, you can also ask your guide for his/her help.

15. Can I add extra days to my trip ?

If you need extra day, you will need to inform the guide in advance and the guide will let the company know. Adding a day to trip can result in many changes in other arrangements such as transportation, guide’s schedule, flight details, hotel bookings and all. So, we really do not recommend this to our clients unless there is an emergency case. But it is true that those changes could be made but it will cost extra. The best way to do it is to inform the agent company about it.

16. What immunizations will I need ?

Before coming to Nepal, make sure you are covered for diphtheria & TB, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria, typhoid, polio and tetanus. Make sure you are in best shape to complete the trip without any complication.

17. How long does it take to do a Bungee Jump ?

As you arrive at the site there will be briefing and many processes to do it so normally it will take 45 to 2 hours to complete it.

18. How will my booking be processed ?

To confirm your booking, a deposit of 15% of total trip amount is required if you are booking at least a year in advance before trip departure date. If booking is made between 100-364 days before the trip departure, you'll need to pay 20% to confirm the trip. If payment is made between 99-60 days, 25% of the total trip amount will need to be paid and if booked between 59-30 days, 50% of the total trip amount needs to be paid and finally, if you are booking 29 days prior to trip departure, then 100% payment should be made. The payments can be easily made by the bank transfer. The due balance is payable on arrival in Kathmandu with cash (preferably USD/EURO) or card on POS/credit card machine. Please note that non refundable fee is 10% or $200 whichever is greater.

19. Can we use the credit card during the Bungee ?

Yes, you can use the credit card during the trip. But make sure you withdraw few amount in case of emergency.

20. Can I buy a video of my Bungee Jump ?

Yes, there will be guys who will shoot your video and photographs so if you want to buy it then you can buy it after paying NPR 2300 per person, including 4 pictures and one beautiful t-shirt.

21. Is there any age restriction for adventure activities ?

Yes, below the age of 18 they have to take permission with their parents as adventure sport are risky.

22. What is the height of the last resort Bungee jump in Nepal ?

160m is the height of the last resort Bungee jump in Nepal.
