Comprehensive Trek Guide

Paragliding in Nepal is a recreational and adventurous activity that brings you the thrill of being up in the sky like a bird. Paragliding, or parapenting, is a recreational and competitive flying sport. The paraglider is a free-flying, foot-launched aircraft. The pilot sits in a harness suspended underneath a texture wing, whose shape is framed by the weight of air entering vents in the front of the wing.
Here, Paragliding can be done in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Paragliding in Nepal is relatively safe and also budget-friendly in some ways. It's also the closest thing you can experience flying alongside those beautiful birds. In Pokhara, you can do paragliding in Sarangkot. As you take off from Sarangkot(1,592 m), you feel the fresh air rushing through your face from the Himalayas; you also have an aerial view of the Himalayas.
Paragliding in Nepal is a lifetime experience for everyone guided by the experienced pilot. You can also fly solo or in tandem. You can also get an international license here in Nepal. You don't have to bring your equipment if you don't have one. Here, you can hire them if you want to fly on your own.
Besides the thrill and the adventure of flying, you pass through a village, monastery, lakes, temples, etc. As mentioned earlier, a fully experienced and professional pilot will be alongside you, guiding and helping throughout! The city promotes two prominent hilltops as viewpoints to see the city and surroundings. A car ride from Pokhara uphill is required to reach our destination, i.e., Sarangkot. Her,e we have a great view of Phewa Lake, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu.
Tipping Recommendation
We recommend allocating 10-15% of your total tour cost to tipping guides, drivers, and other hardworking staff who ensure your experience is unforgettable. While tipping is not mandatory, it is a meaningful way to support the seasonal workers who dedicate themselves to making your trip extraordinary.
By booking with us and participating in the tipping culture, you are directly contributing to Nepal’s local economy and helping sustain the tourism workforce. This support is crucial in retaining talent within the country and addressing challenges like brain drain.
Your generosity makes a lasting impact—thank you!
