Nepal, a land of natural wonders, offers unparalleled opportunities for adventure, and the Trishuli River stands out as one of the country’s top rafting destinations. Known for its exciting rapids and breathtaking scenery, the river provides an ideal setting for a full-day white water rafting adventure. Conveniently accessible from Kathmandu, the Trishuli River also serves as a refreshing and thrilling alternative to traditional road travel towards other major destinations like Chitwan and Pokhara.

This trip is more than just an adventure – it’s a journey through Nepal’s stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. From the roar of the river to the peaceful charm of a local village hike, this tour combines adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion.

The adventure begins in Kathmandu, where you’ll be warmly welcomed and briefed about the upcoming tour. Early on the second day, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Charaudi, located about 85 km from Kathmandu. This is the starting point of the rafting journey, and the drive itself offers captivating views of Nepal’s countryside.

At Charaudi, you’ll receive a safety briefing and instructions from experienced rafting guides. Equipped with top-quality gear, you’ll begin your rafting journey through the Trishuli River. The rapids, rated Grade III, offer the perfect blend of excitement and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for adventurers of all skill levels. Along the way, you’ll be surrounded by stunning landscapes, including lush forests, rocky gorges, and glimpses of local wildlife.

After a few hours of exhilarating rafting, you’ll pause for a riverside lunch where you can relax and soak in the serene surroundings. Once the rafting adventure concludes, a vehicle will transport you back to your hotel in Kathmandu, ensuring a seamless experience.

On the third day, the adventure continues with a guided hike through a nearby village, offering an intimate look at Nepalese rural life. The hike is easy and relaxing, making it accessible to everyone. Returning to Kathmandu, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites and vibrant markets in the afternoon. This mix of adventure and cultural exploration ensures a well-rounded experience.

The final day is reserved for departure. After breakfast, our representative will escort you to the airport with plenty of time to check in, allowing you to leave Nepal with cherished memories of an unforgettable journey.

Tipping Recommendation

We recommend allocating 10-15% of your total tour cost to tipping guides, drivers, and other hardworking staff who ensure your experience is unforgettable. While tipping is not mandatory, it is a meaningful way to support the seasonal workers who dedicate themselves to making your trip extraordinary.

By booking with us and participating in the tipping culture, you are directly contributing to Nepal’s local economy and helping sustain the tourism workforce. This support is crucial in retaining talent within the country and addressing challenges like brain drain.

Your generosity makes a lasting impact—thank you!
