Nepal is a country residing more than 80 % of Hindu people. Temples in Nepal were formed even before the existence of the Christian era, Hindu Culture and religion has been the subject of interest to a lot of outsiders too. Nepal is also the Gateway to Kailash Mansarovar, the mythical abode of Lord Shiva. Devotees from various parts of Nepal and India throng the temples during special festivals.

This Pilgrimage tour includes Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath, Tal Barahi temple, Manakamana temple, Muktinath temple, etc. Lord Shiva is the most worshipped God by Hindus also known by the name ‘Mahadev’ that means the greatest god. Pashupatinath is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for Shiva devotees. It is the largest Hindu temple and is considered to be the holiest of all Hindu Temples. This is a two-tiered golden temple with four silver doorways, hundreds of Shiva linga shrines and holy symbols. It is located on the holy river Bagmati, 6 km east of Kathmandu.

Swayambhunath is an ancient religious architecture at the top of a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, Tibetan name for the site means 'Sublime Trees', for the many varieties of trees found on the hill. This site is also known as Monkey temple infamous for monkeys.

Manakamana and Tal Barahi are two beautiful temple sites to add attraction in this tour; these two temples are also highly worshipped by Nepali people and hold great importance to them. Today we visit UNESCO listed cultural heritage sites. First, a visit to the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square and then we continue exploring other sites according to your preference. Overnight in Kathmandu;

Soon after the breakfast, we depart for Pokhara and on the way, we stop to pay a visit to Manokamana Devi’s temple Darsan (the wish-fulfilling Goddess). Temple is situated on a hill so we take a cable car to reach there. It is a very enjoyable ride. After lunch, we resume our trip to Pokhara and spend overnight there.

Today we head towards Jomsom on a scenic flight from Pokhara to Jomsom above the mountains. We take a morning flight and you can enjoy the views of the Nilgiri peaks as well as Dhaulagiri, the sixth highest mountain in the world. You can opt for visiting apple farms to Marpha or spend the day as you like. Overnight at Jomsom;

Pilgrimage tour is popular as a pilgrimage tour region among the all people and is quite famous trekking trail, hence wide range of delicious western meals like Pasta, noodles, pizzas, bread, soup etc. you can get there. Dal Bhat (Rice, Lentils and Vegetables) are great way to gain energy for the strenuous trek.
Dress is depend upon the season when you are travelling as during summer season at Kathmandu and Pokhara there will be hot so bring t-shirts and pants which will be comfortable for you but carry a pair of warm clothes for Muktinath and Jomsom as there will be cold in every season. In case you are travelling in winter season then bring warm clothes.
Yes, of course vegetarian food is good for health and during trek also. If you are vegetarian then it will be fine we will manage it but you have to clarify it soon.
There are plenty of water stations on each stop on the route. You can easily fill up the bottle from the open taps. We recommend that you bring water purifier tablets with you or at least get it from Kathmandu before you depart for trip. You can also buy mineral waters but we usually recommend tap water which is pure and it helps us not promoting plastic bottled water.
We use private car for sightseeing inside the Kathmandu Valley and transfer to chanaute by car, bus, van and deluxe minibus with A/C according to the number of participate. We also drop and pick up from the starting and ending point of trek on private car or jeep.
February to June and Mid-September to December are the best time to do this trek.
Weather at high altitude is unpredictable so carry a light weight waterproof jacket along with thick down jacket, pant and thermal inner wear to escape severe cold. Needless to say that, Good shoes are very important. As you are going higher try to wear modest clothes to quickly get up with the local people without hesitation.
We customize the trip according to your preference but if you need to change plan during the trek consult the guide.
We contact the lodge/guesthouse owner for reservation of the room before trip on a particular day. On other days, porters reach the destination on advance and book the rooms for you. But there are always going to be exceptions but even in those cases, we may have to be flexible about very basic sleeping arrangements. We always try to make sure that we have everything well arranged.
All our Guides are experts holding license from Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal Government. They are the most valuable assets of the company. Guides know the route like the back of their hand and use their expertise in ensuring your safety in the mountains.
In higher lands you need to pay for charging the electronics upon request to the owner. The best idea always is to bring your power bank with you. It's easier and cheaper.
In some village, you can make local and international calls from telephone provided by the guesthouse owner after paying the price directly. Our guide also provided with a mobile phone in case of emergency you can call from his mobile and make a call.
If you need extra day to complete the trip, you will need to inform the guide in advance and the guide will let the company know. Adding a day to trip can result in many changes in other arrangements such as transportation, guides' schedule, flight details, hotel bookings and all, so we really don't recommend this to our clients unless there's an emergency cases. But it is true that those changes could be made but it will cost extra. The best way to do it is to inform the agent company about it.
Before coming to Nepal make sure you are covered for diphtheria & TB, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, malaria, typhoid, polio and tetanus. Make sure you are in best shape to complete the trip without any complication.
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 15% of total trip amount is required if you are booking at least a year in advance before trip departure date. If booking is made between 100-364 days before the trip departure, you'll need to pay 20% to confirm the trip. If payment is made between 99-60 days, 25% of the total trip amount will need to be paid and if booked between 59-30 days, 50% of the total trip amount needs to be paid and finally, if you are booking 29 days prior to trip departure, then 100% payment should be made. The payments can be easily made by the bank transfer. The due balance is payable on arrival in Kathmandu with cash (preferably USD/EURO) or card on POS/credit card machine. Please note that non refundable fee is 10% or $200 whichever is greater.
You cannot use the credit card during the trek. You have to withdraw the money before you start the trek. You can use credit card only in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
You have to carry your personal bags with water bottle and medicines remaining bags will be carried by porters to make you easy to trek. The weight limit for porters is 15 KG.
